About Techufy
Techufy is a software company in Bellevue, Washington. We are engineers first. Most of us came from telecom back-office systems, where a bug shows up on a few million invoices, and that shaped how we build everything else.
15+ years each
Our senior people have been building systems that are not allowed to fail since the mid-2000s.
Carrier scale
Rating, billing and promotion engines for large service providers, in production for years.
Our own product
We built the TR-369 USP Solution from an empty repository, so we know what a real USP deployment involves.
Small on purpose
You talk to the people doing the work. There is no account manager between you and the engineer.
What we are good at
Java back ends
Java EE and Spring, with Kafka, ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ for messaging, Hazelcast for in-memory state, and Kubernetes and Docker to run it all. Boring, proven, fast.
High volume, always on
Systems that process a lot of events per second and are not allowed a maintenance window. We know which trade-offs to make and which ones will hurt later.
Microservices, when they help
We have split monoliths and we have merged services back together. We will tell you which one your system needs.
Broadband Forum TR-369 and TR-069
We built a TR-069 ACS, then a TR-369 USP controller, and we run TR369.org. Device management for broadband networks is the thing we know best.
Integration
Making systems that were never meant to talk to each other exchange data reliably: SOAP, REST, message queues, batch files, whatever the other side has.
Running a project
We have led teams through multi-year deliveries for operators. We plan, we report honestly, and we do not hide slippage until the last week.
Where else to find us
We post when there is something worth posting.
